Kitty City NM was featured in the South Episode, of Must Love Cats. The job they did showing off our facility and letting people know what we are about, was awesome! I loved everything from the song that John sang to the last moment where one of our volunteers was holding a purring kitten! Maybe it is just me, but i think Kitty City was the best part of the show! Meow! I am putting the video clip up here of the Kitty City portion of the program, for those who have Internet access but no cable tv. CHARLIE SEZ PET SENSE IS CLASSY!
Pet Sense and their employees continue to be one of Otero County’s most generous leaders in supporting local animal shelters and rescues. Their commitment to animal welfare is evident in the time and energy they spend by sponsoring adoptions in their store.
The animals you see in their store are all from local shelters and rescues. They have generated over 300 adoptions for Kitty City in the last three years as well as numerous adoptions for other local rescues and shelters. Pet Sense’s kindness and support has been incredible. Their alliance with Kitty City and other local animal rescues goes beyond just the adoptions that they sponsor. Their employees have donated their time and the store has generously allowed non-profit dog washes and promotional adoptions to be held in their parking lot. Their management has worked closely with Kitty City and other rescues on a consistant basis since they opened on White Sands Blvd.
Classy Cats and Kitty City hopes the community at large will recognize this most unselfish contribution and frequent Pet Sense for pet food, supplies, and to visit the animals they are adopting on behalf of local rescues.

ANIMAL FOOD BANK
In an effort to reduce the number of owner surrenders of family pets to animal shelters, Kitty City is sponsoring an animal food bank at Classy Cats Thrift Store. Our animal food bank is currently open to any citizen of Otero County for both cats and dogs. Our goal with the food bank is to help financially struggling owners to hang onto to their companion pets.
